The continuing success of our school is based on the positive partnership between learners, parents, staff, governors, and trustees. As the world is rapidly changing, we need to ensure that all our learners go out into the globally competitive world with the skills, attributes, and behaviours for twenty-first century living. We value children and staff and motivate them to continue their learning journey.Īn outstanding education experience is one of the greatest gifts that we can offer to our young people who will be the leaders of future generations. We are a learning community and therefore learning is at the heart of all we do. We have continued to move forward at BMGS, through adopting and incorporating new practices such as e-learning in every classroom, as well as 24-hour access to the curriculum through our Microsoft Teams Learning Environment. We also work closely with our feeder primary schools, learning from their experience with your child in order that we can deliver the very best start for all. We make it our priority to ensure a smooth transition from primary to secondary through excellent pastoral care. The school has a track record of sustainable school improvements, and we are looking to strengthen our team as we move on. The school’s GCSE results have been outstanding. Regardless of current Ofsted grading of Requires Improvement, the school has continued to maintain its ranking in the top 20% nationally for Progress 8. New Design Technology facilities are currently being explored through the development of the third floor and Ground Floor of the Mill Building, adjacent to the school and we will continue to expand them further The increasing pupil population and recent Ofsted outcome has given the renewed impetus to the review of the current curriculum and staffing structure and generating more opportunities for everyone. The new Ofsted framework emphasis is more on a rich and varied curriculum and how it is taught than pupil progress and attainment in GCSEs. We had a Section 5 Ofsted inspection in Dec 2022 and school has been judged Requires Improvement. There has never been a better time to be associated with BMGS than now. As a parent myself, I fully understand that children’s happiness, safety, and wellbeing must always be the priority. Firstly, and in my opinion, most importantly, we will always try to ensure that your child is happy.

Your children are the reason why we are all here. Pupils are well prepared to understand and participate in modern Britain". Leaders think of new ways to involve pupils in activities beyond the classroom. "The personal development curriculum is thorough and well designed. We strive to ensure that learners at BMGS are happy and confident individuals who demonstrate the school’s core values of faith, aspiration, respect, honesty, good manners, tolerance, resilience, and kindness. "Senior leaders, trustees and governors are driven to provide equality and high ambition for all pupils at this school." Ofsted Dec.2022Īs a faith academy, the Islam faith underpins all that we do in school. We want our children to be the best they can be, and this is underpinned by our vision - ‘Success for All’. We aim to provide your child with the experiences, knowledge, and academic skills to inspire them to become successful life-long learners.
